Machinery paint is produced on the basis of alkyds and lightfast pigments and are therefore particularly suitable for top coat painting of machines where a high gloss and weather resistance are required. The machine enamel has a well-balanced consistency that gives the product the best trade characteristics when applied by brush or sprayed. The enamel can withstand heat up to about 80 °C without changing the paint or losing adhesion. Machine enamel is not intended for automotive painting. Drying time: 3 to 4 hours at 20°C or 30 minutes at 80°C. The lowest recommended painting temperature is 10°C; the drying time is also significantly longer at such low temperatures.
