Shafts with shear bolts protect the drive transmission if the rotation of the shaft is blocked. In the event of overloading, the transmission of torque is stopped by bolt in the clutch shearing. Reset by replacing the bolt. Standard applications are snow throwers. Stated values apply at 5° angular deflection on the joint and a lifetime of 1000 hours.
