Before the arrival of the e-store, all the spare parts were collected in a printed catalogue, which gained more and more pages every year. For many years, the “Olsson Catalogue” was viewed as a bible in the sector.

When the very last catalogue was published in 2005, it contained almost 2,000 pages. There are still customer who have kept the last edition and who prefer to place their orders from there. 

A new catalogue was published every year. The business celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1984, and a copy of that year’s jubilee catalogue recently turned up on Tradera. From this, we draw the conclusion that the “Olsson Catalogue” is now viewed as a collector’s item.

Several items from the 1984 catalogue are still sold today, and still have the same part number as they had then. These include the Delphi fuel filter, with part number 296. This particular part number is almost worn out on our keyboards, as for some unclear reason the number 296 is “always” used when testing new functions on www.olssonparts.com, for example.
