This replaces an older type of solenoid. Must be mounted directly on the fuel injection pump, between the pump and the block. Longer mounting bolts are required, and the old mounting bracket must be discarded. Tightening torque for the new mounting bolts 24 Nm, but no more as this may damage the fuel injection pump! This is a recommendation that also applies to the original.
