Shafts with a friction disc clutch maintain a high torque when slipping. Suitable as a starting clutch during acceleration of large masses and limits short time torque peaks during operations. Standard applications are rotavators. Stated values apply at 5° angular deflection on the joint and a lifetime of 1000 hours.
