Stefan Ekblad from Olsson Parts shows how to assemble screw couplings for hydraulic hoses - a convenient solution for temporary repairs where pressed couplings are not an option. Unlike press couplings, screw couplings are assembled by screwing the sleeve and post together. They are suitable for hydraulic systems with working pressures up to around 200 bar, and as long as the threads are undamaged, the splits can be used again.
